1. Clinical Research Assistant Intern-Job Description and Duties

This is the first step to becoming a clinical research associate. As an intern, you will experience a training program which will expose you to various projects which supports the clinical business while getting first-hand experience and exposure in field monitoring responsibilities.


  1. Working towards a degree in life sciences.
  2. Computer competency in programs such as Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  3. Good communication skills.


The salary for this position ranges from $41k-$59k.

2. Operations Supervisor-Job Description and Duties

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for:

  1. The performance management of their direct reports.
  2. Delivery on the assigned program.
  3. The continued growth and improvement of the health of the program as a whole.
  4. Data analysis, identifying trends, and providing proactive solutions and recommendations.
  5. Seeking a leader, a self-starter, who will take initiative working with various groups within the organization to drive our mission.


  1. A High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or evidence of continual work towards a degree.
  3. Minimum of 4 years experience in customer service for those with a bachelor’s degree.

3. Clinical Team Lead-Job Description and Duties

This role entails regular and proactive communication with the Project Manager/Project Director, Sponsor, and other functional groups. The Clinical Team Lead serves as the main monitoring and managing site for contacts and support for the Project Manager and the client. The CTL is also responsible for managing the clinical operations timeline as agreed with the client, participating in internal project review meetings, coordinating and overseeing regulatory document collection, processing, and maintenance activities.


  1.    Bachelor’s degree in life science or certification in a related field from an accredited institution.
  2.    Minimum of 6 years experience in relevant clinical research.
  3.    Knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP including a basic understanding of other countries regulatory requirements.
  4.    Understanding of the drug development process.
  5.    Experience in project coordination/project management.


The salary for this position ranges from $87-$117k.

4. Manager, Clinical Microbiology-Job Description and Duties

The manager is responsible for leading the staff members and handling the daily operations and on-time delivery of services in the Microbiology department. He/she also communicates the goal and strategy of Covance Central Laboratory Services, provides support when required to the Global Director, ensures the staffs are trained to match the workload requirements of the department, etc.


  1.    Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other life sciences.
  2.    Minimum of 6 years experience in Clinical Microbiology laboratory.
  3.    Two years of supervisory and management experience in a clinical laboratory.
  4.    Fluency in English, French is also preferred.


The salary for this position ranges from $77k-$129k.
