This is to inform all undergraduate and postgraduate graduands in the forthcoming 2020 FUTO convocation ceremony that they can now use the Remita platform to pay for hiring of academic gowns. The cost of hiring of gown is Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) for undergraduate graduands and Seven Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N7,500.00) for postgraduate graduands. The online payment procedure is as follows:
(1) First, visit http://www.futoportal.org/gowns and supply relevant personal data
(2) Click on Create
(3) Click on GENERATE INVOICE to generate your payment invoice.
(4a) Click on Print Invoice to print your invoice, after-which you log out and proceed to any bank to make payment using your Remita RRR Code
(4b) Alternatively, you can click on Pay Now to use online payment options with credit/debit cards such as Verve, Visa, MasterCard, etc.
(5) After successful payment at the bank, you might wish to return to the application portal http://www.futoportal.org/gowns to verify your payment status.
NOTE: The list of successful payments would be sent to the Departments. Graduands who have made successful payments could proceed to the Departments as from Friday, December 04, 2020 to collect their convocation gowns.
