I mean in a day, thousands of Nigerian at one point or another request for printing service, just imagine the cash you’ll make from this kind of business.

In this article I’ll be showing you how to you how to setup a digital printing business in Nigeria and make your money.

1. Have a Reasonable Capital.

I’ll be straight with you without money, the dream of starting a printing business or any other business in the world won’t be near possible. Money is the big guy and you have to have it in other to start a good digital printing business. Not only do you have to have money, the money needs to be reasonable.

I am not saying the money should be big, am saying it should be reasonable enough to start a good a business. I mean you won’t just have twenty thousand and you’re thinking of opening a digital printing business, it won’t work. You see one major problem with businesses in Nigeria is lack of enough fund when starting a business.

If you need to setup a good business, you got to spend some reasonable amount of money. You need to make it look good, nice and classy. People like good things, so when you spend some reasonable amount of money of money to make your business look good and classic, you sure would make money from it. You need money to pay some bills like electricity, rent a place to start up and many others.

2. The Location.

No matter how good, nice  and classy your digital printing business look, if it’s not situated in the right location, you won’t make money from it so location is very fundamental.

When staring a digital printing business, always look for somewhere accessible, somewhere people can easily locate. If possible, put it in the heart of the town, you’ll make a whole lot of money. I mean think about, would you want to go to a printing shop that is located far off the city or in a place where people don’t live? You answer most assuredly would be negative. So get a good location and start that business

3. Get a Good Graphic Artist / Worker.

You don’t want to employ someone who doesn’t know anything about the job, the outcome would be a poor job delivery which will eventual drive away customer. Don’t ever settle for less , look for a good graphic designer and other experienced workers.

Don’t just employ any one. test them practically to know if they can deliver. If they don’t, look for another set of people who can do the work well.

4. Market Your Business.

Mrs A probably doesn’t know there’s a wonderful digital printing shop or firm just down the road because he wasn’t informed. Marketing your business makes the world know about what you do and the result would be people trooping into your firm.

Get a good sign post to advertise your business. It mustn’t be a big sign post, even a small one would do. If you have enough cash, advertise it in radio station and television station where the business is situated. Make invitation card and flyers, and distribute them to the public. Talk to people about your business,  just make sure people know about your business.

5. Job Well Done.

Always make sure you deliver a good job.  You see, nothing keeps and brings more customers like when they’re satisfied with your work. You won’t even need to do the talking and convincing of people, your customer would do it for you.

If mister john is satisfied with your work, he’ll refer you to his friend Mathew and so also is Mathew. Job well done is a promoter and marketer on its own, its promotes and markers you even without you knowing.

6. Explain Your Business.

Like i said, never settle for less. Expand your business territory. Make sure it is situated in major location and areas in your state. Nothing would be more better than a person locating your business in any areas closest to him, I mean it would make everything easy and faster and plus you’ll be going big.

7. Charging for Jobs.

One major strategy you can you can use for an effective business is the price. Your work price should not be higher than the amount it should be and if you want people trooping into firm or shop, reduce the price for a period of months or week. You’ll be amazed with the result. If Mrs is doing his work 2000 naira, you can do your own 1905 naira. The important thing is to get as many customers as possible.

8. Get a Good Working Machine and Equipments.

When starting a digital printing work, pay attention to the equipment and machine you use for delivering people’s work. Make sure it is good and in a working condition.

Don’t use a machine that is damaged or not in good working condition because it will reduce the quality of the job and that won’t be good for business. Getting a new machine would be very good but even if you can’t afford a new one, get an already used one but make sure it’s in a working condition.

9. Have a Good Internet Connection.

You need a good internet connection to start a digital printing work in Nigeria. You can’t do everything on your own, sometimes you just need to look into other peoples work online to get a new idea and plus you need internet connection to do some certain printing jobs.

10. Be Polite, Friendly and Gentle When Handling Customer.

People appreciate when they’re been respected. Nobody would want to with someone that is hostile and bad mannered. You need you need to treat your customer love and respect if you want them to be back for another job.
