About Outreach Medical Service Limited
Outreach Medical Services Ltd was incorporated in 2008 but the Children’s Hospital started operations in July 2010. In its current operations, it gives direct access to sick children together with being a Referral Hospital for general practitioners, private maternity hospitals and Lagos State General Hospitals.
The brain behind it is an entrepreneur Dr. Efunbo Dosekun; an experienced General Paediatrician with an interest in Neonatology. She has 30 years of experience in Pediatrics/Neonatology. Her work experience includes 20 years in Nigeria and 12 years in the UK.
It has over 20, 000 registered children (as at 4/9/16) and has had over 60, 000 consultations.
The service is fulfilling a current need in the Maternal/Paediatric/Neonatal health system in Lagos. The need it fulfils is the provision of acute care of neonates and children.

General Qualifications and Requirements.
Applicants applying for the Outreach Medical Service Limited recruitment must possess any of the following.
- Possession of B.Sc, HND, NCE, OND in any discipline from a recognized institution
- Applicants must not be above 35 years old
- West African School Certificate (WASC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects; or
- National Examination Council (NECO)/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including English Language.)
- National Diploma (ND) obtained from a recognized institution. National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution; or General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two (2) subjects obtained at one sitting or three (3) subjects obtained at two sittings.
- Must be a computer literate.
