Bayero University, Kano, BUK academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic session.
The University Senate has approved the calendar of activities for the 2021/2022 academic session, according to which lectures will commence on Monday, 27th February, 2020.
This was contained in a statement signed by the University Examinations Officer, Amina Umar Abdullahi, on behalf of the Registrar, Sani Amin Ibrahim. The calendar is as follows:

| 7 | 6th – 25 th June, 2020 | 1st Semester Examinations (3 weeks) |
| 8 | 27th June – 10th July, 2020 | End-of-Semester Break (2 weeks) |

Thanks for the update. However; it is contradictory:
1. Registration can’t begin 22nd February while lecture begin 29th February.
2. Except there’s new standing order, registration normally last for 3 weeks.

Actually this calendar needs to be adjusted: there’s need for a reshuffle.
Some students were saying this academic calender is too long, my question here is : Are they ready to study at BUK and read very hard during their study? How can they depend their certificate after graduation? To me the calender is ok for me, because I want to read very hard.
if someone said the calendar is long he does not says he is not ready to study, he rather denote the interval between the registration period and the lecture is too much.
This calender is completely wrong dont rely on it.
Actually, there is confusion in this calendar.
wow how i wish student are also consultated during this kind of process. well i dont really blame those in charge because all of them are paid for their service per month. If nt how will they design such kind of activities?
