UNIBEN 44th Convocation Ceremony & 48th Founders’ Day Programme
The 44th Convocation and 48th Founder’s Day Ceremonies of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) for the 2016/ 2020 academic session is scheduled to hold from Monday 19th November to 24th November 2020. This year’s schedule of events will kick-off with a World Press Briefing, scheduled to take place at the University of Benin’s Senate Chambers. Time for World Press Briefing is 10.00am on the 14th of November 2020.

9.00 a.m. – Interdenominational Service
Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium
11.00 a.m. Convocation Lecture
Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium
1.00 p.m. – Cocktail Party
Venue – Pro-Chancellor’s Lodge
Thursday, 22nd November, 2020
10.00 a.m. – Presentation of Prizes
Award of Certificates, Diplomas and First Degrees in the Faculties of Agriculture, Arts, Education, Engineering, Law, Life Sciences, Management Sciences, Pharmacy, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, School of Dentistry, School of Basic Medical Sciences, School of Medicine, Institute of Education and IPAES.

Friday, 23rd November, 2020
- 00 a.m. – Exhibition/Cultural Display
- 11.00 a.m. – Founder’s Day Lecture – Special Convocation

1.00 p.m. – Cocktail Party

Saturday, 24th November, 2020
♦ 10.30 a.m. Presentation of Prizes,Award of Post-Graduate Diplomas, Conferment of Higher Degrees (Masters & Doctorate),
